The Museum of Antiquities will be collaborating with the Barony of Myrgan Wood for a fun-filled day of workshops and other activities dedicated to daily life in the Middle Ages. Workshops will including activities pertaining to medieval crafts and skills, and there will also be a series of mock medieval combats and even a medieval court! This event is for ages 15 and above. The Museum of Antiquities is located in the historical Peter MacKinnon Building on the University of Saskatchewan Campus in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Museum exhibits replicas of ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian, ancient Near Eastern and medieval sculpture, as well as original artifacts including coinage, Roman glass, and pottery. The Museum of Antiquities offers educational and outreach programming year round for people of all ages focusing on the cultures ancient and medieval Europe and the Near East.
