Contest open to all ages, businesses and organizations! Judging will take place on Friday, October 11th. Out-of-Town participants should call/text 306-292-8901 to book their spot in Town – limited spaces available!
Prizes awarded in the following categories:
1. Best Dressed Business/ Organization (1 prize)
2. Household Entries (3 prizes)
3. Kids’ (12 & Under) (3 prizes)
Scarecrows will remain up for the entire Thanksgiving Long Weekend and maps will be available to take a Scarecrow Tour around town!

Porcupine Opportunities Program & Town of Porcupine Plain
The Town of Porcupine Plain aims to provide a secure place to live, work and play, while embracing nature, culture and diversity and providing programming and facilities for our residents that are accessible, supportive and stimulating for all age groups. The Town partners with the Porcupine Opportunities Program to host the Scarecrow Contest each year -- the Porcupine Opportunities Program (POP) is a community-based and community-governed organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of persons experiencing disability. In operation since 1974, the agency currently provides residential, vocational, and recreational support and services for approximately thirty adults with disabilities.
