About

Canadian tenor Josh Lovell, who has been described as “a handsome sounding tenor with a warm, liquid voice and easy high notes” (The Guardian), will join the Canadian Opera Company this fall, performing the role of Jaquino in Beethoven's Fidelio. For his Free Concert Series debut, Lovell will bring audiences through the 19th century to the present day with a series of works by Bellini, Britten, Fauré, and John Beckwith.

The Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre, presented by TD Bank Group, brings artists from around the world to share their talent and passion in one of Toronto's most breathtaking and intimate spaces. The series features nearly 70 concerts from September to May and includes artists from across genres including instrumental, vocal, jazz and dance performances.

Pre-registration is not required. Attendance is first-come-first-served. Doors to the concert open at 11:30am.
