About

Miss Vancouver World 2017, Miss Earth BC 2018 and an upcoming theatre performance graduate of SFU’s school for the contemporary arts, Lia Fallah is an artist, dancer, choreographer and director with experience in both theatre and dance. Immigrating to Canada in 2011, Lia immediately pursued her passion in multicultural dances and shortly after co-founded her own group called “Anahita Group of Arts and Culture” with her mother. So far, Lia has had numerous dances in Contemporary, Persian folk, Afghan, Polish, Azeri, lyrical and many more. She has also created opportunities to teach and collaborate with different artists both in Canada and internationally.

The Greater Vancouver Society to Bridge Arts and Community

The Greater Vancouver Society to Bridge Arts and Community (Bridge Society) is a registered charitable organization that has a mandate to promote awareness of arts and culture by establishing bridges between the general public, the private sector, arts organizations, and individual artists. Bridge Society staff work together with a volunteer provincial task force and steering committee, municipalities, and numerous community arts and cultural organizations to coordinate plans for the Culture Days weekend.
