Artist Kara Perpelitz invites members of the community to create a small, abstract fibre creation of their choosing with the materials and tools provided.

Participants will be instructed in simple wet felting, needle felting, embroidery and hand sewing methods, with the ultimate goal of walking away with something that can be used as a bookmark, or something that can be hung from a purse, backpack, or rear view mirror.

These creations can be made in as little as 30 minutes or can become quite extravagant taking closer to 2 hours. Kara will guide all participants towards their vision and will also have a few examples for the participants to be inspired by.

This is a drop in workshop that will be filled on a first come, first served basis. It is intended for ages 4+, but children under 10 should have adult supervision.

Thanks to SaskCulture and Sask Lotteries for funding this event.
