Join Lori Goldberg as she showcases her forest painting collect created during her NVRC Artist Residency. The showcase is open from 1:00-4:00 and enjoy Lori's artist talk at 2:00pm

When the Forest Breathes, I Do Too.

As I paint amidst the trees and undergrowth, I feel the forest's life force flowing through me; each brushstroke reflects the perpetual cycle of renewal that is the forest's heart.

In stillness,I breathe with the forest observing ever-changing shimmering light juxtaposed with the solidity, structures of the looming trees and the symphony of layered undergrowth, rich with nuances of different hues of greens and earth tones.

The forest offers a profound understanding of existence.

I recognize the forest's pivotal role as a carbon sink, diligently sequestering carbon and revitalizing the atmosphere, thereby championing the battle against climate change.

The forest's inherent capacity for regeneration instills hope within me, envisioning a greener and healthier planet.
