About
The H.M.C.S. Burlington is one of our Burlington’s invisible connections to the Second World War. Museums of Burlington found this souvenir program on the Burlington Historical Society website. It describes the 1941 dedication and reception ceremony for the H.M.C.S. Burlington J250. This online exhibition explores some of the history hidden in the program including: Where and when was the H.M.C.S Burlington built, where the ceremony took place, who attended the ceremony, the songs that were performed, what happened after the dedication, and what happened to the H.M.C.S. Burlington after the war.
