Mocean Dance is excited to offer an open community dance class at the Keshen Goodman Library on Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 1:45-2:30 pm.

Accessible to any age or skill level - no previous experience required!

Engage your body-mind connection with a free movement class designed for inclusivity and aimed to create a sense of community in a creative atmosphere. Awaken your breath connection, mobilize your joints, and bring a little extra movement excitement to your day. With live percussion to accompany the class, we will use a variety of music to lift your spirit and challenge your rhythmic flow.

Mocean Dance is recognized nationally as a leading contemporary dance company from the Atlantic region. We provide fertile ground for artistic endeavours and potential in the field of dance. We share perspectives from our region and create opportunities to engage the local arts ecology and connect to the national performing arts community. Through our work, we aim to support Halifax as a hotspot for creation, research, experimentation, collaboration, and performance, as well as nurturing community vitality through education and outreach programs that celebrate dance as a vehicle for transformation.
