About

This is an exploratory movement class combining improvisation and somatic work. I will guide the group to ground ourselves in the body - sensing, observing and "thinking" with the body - and engage in creative inquiry through prompts, exercises, scores and more; we will work with ourselves (solo) and with others (duets+) to expand our range of tools for movement, dance, and physical expression.

No experience necessary, curiosity required!

I am a mover-dancer-improvisor. I teach movement improvisation and embodiment classes with an emphasis on pleasure and curiosity. I am a believer in movement/dance as fun, healing, exploratory, informative, community-building, communicative, expressive, and fundamental to being human!
