Tree-Mendous Creative Collage Workshop
Artist: Dena Colling Gelentso
Trees are beautiful sculptures in nature. Get creative as we draw, cut, tear, twist and collage. Explore drawing autumn trees and then incorporate a variety of collage techniques.
Spend 30 to 45 mins. creating | Drop-in for all ages

Artist: Dena Colling Gelentso
Dena Colling Gelentso is a local educator who is a graduate of Brock University in Visual Arts and Psychology. She received her Teaching Degree through the St. Catharines Teachers College and has taught extensively in the elementary panel until her retirement in 2003. In the community Dena is recognized for the delivery of her programs at the Market Square Discovery table, City Events, in schools and seniors homes. Dena takes the opportunity to integrate teaching and learning about the arts in her day-to-day life. Dena has participated in Culture Days since 2016 and enjoys the opportunity to work with participants to explore something fresh and new. She describes teaching and learning as her passion and is interested in the idea of being a life-long learner.
