Join us at the Rotary Centre for the Arts to kick-off Culture Days 2021!
The Kick-Off Reception will take place from 5pm - 5:45pm in the Rotary Centre for the Arts Atrium and will be immediately followed by a 90 minute jazz jam.
The reception will include speeches and performances from several esteemed guests, including Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran and Executive Director of the Rotary Centre for the Arts, Colleen Fitzpatrick. Elder Grouse Barnes will provide a land acknowledgment. Kelowna City Councillor Maxine DeHart will also be in attendance.
Audiences will also be treated to a Culture Days preview performance by bellydancer Leona from Kelowna, and poetry from Rawle James, who will be the evening's emcee.
This event is free to attend with donations to the Rotary Centre for the Arts gratefully accepted. No RSVP is required, however, space is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
