About
This program is a chance for crafty teens to use their skills to help people. December 1st is World AIDS Day, when red scarves, mittens, and hats line the streets to bring awareness to HIV/AIDS in our communities. We will learn how to do simple knitting stitches and make red scarves to donate to The Positive Health Network serving Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant for those in need.
Please register if you are a beginner or have no experience with knitting. If you already know how to knit and will just need supplies and no instructions, please email [email protected]. All supplies will be provided. Participants can earn volunteer hours for high school.
Please note that you should expect to have to attend the majority of the sessions in order to complete your scarf.
For ages 13-17.
