The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is proud to welcome back our core summer resident and partner, The Foster Festival!
Established in the fall of 2015, The Foster Festival is the only Canadian theatre festival to celebrate the work of a living playwright. Norm Foster is the most produced playwright in Canadian history with over 60 plays receiving an average of 150 productions each year across Canada and internationally.
Our #Niagara community is very fortunate that Norm Foster and his hilarious heartwarming plays have found a permanent home in our local world-class venue.
A live reading of the Foster favourite "Here on the Flight Path" performed by Melanie Janzen and Jamie Williams. Love, life and loss are all discussed with big laughs and a few tears in what many describe as Norm Foster’s funniest play ever.
The performance is followed by a Q&A session with the actors and Norm Foster!

THE FIRSTONTARIO PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE
Opening its doors in fall 2015, the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is a 95,000 square foot academic and cultural complex comprised of four state-of-the-art performance venues. The Centre has been a vital component in the renaissance of St. Catharines, serving as the catalyst in thoroughly modernizing the area and reinforcing the brilliance of Niagara Region’s diverse cultural cluster.
Each year the Centre presents Culture Days activities for the Community in partnership with the City of St. Catharines Cultural Services Office, local organizations and artists.
In 2020, Due to COVID, the PAC has initiated a series of digital performances the #NIAGARAPERFORMS series and is pleased to offer feature digital performative experiences during Culture Days.
