Ability Hive Accessible Halloween is a free, inclusive community celebration that reimagines the Halloween tradition so people of all ages and abilities can participate in a welcoming, accessible environment. Held at Jonathan Pitre Accessible Park in Embrun, visitors will explore an immersive Halloween Village featuring beautifully decorated sponsor stations, trick-or-treating, costumed characters, a red carpet photo experience, and an enchanting themed trail leading into the park.
Designed with accessibility at its heart, the event includes a dedicated Regulation Station, accessible washroom facilities, an adult change station, visual communication supports (AAC), sensory support resources, accessible pathways, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere for individuals with disabilities, sensory sensitivities, and their families.
More than a Halloween event, Ability Hive Accessible Halloween celebrates community, creativity, inclusion, and the joy of sharing cultural traditions with everyone. Admission is free, costumes are encouraged, and all are welcome.

Ability Hive
Ability Hive is a Canadian mission-driven company dedicated to making communities more accessible and inclusive through a carefully curated selection of sensory, therapeutic, and accessibility products for individuals of all ages and abilities.
The company's story began in 2023 with the creation of Embrun Accessible Halloween, a free community event designed to ensure that everyone could experience the joy of Halloween in an accessible and welcoming environment. Inspired by the overwhelming response from families, that single event became the foundation for Ability Hive.
Today, Ability Hive continues to support individuals, families, educators, therapists, healthcare organizations, businesses, and municipalities across Canada while giving back to the disability community by donating 2% of all sales to organizations and initiatives that support people with disabilities. Ability Hive Accessible Halloween remains the organization's flagship annual community event and reflects its ongoing commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and belonging.
