Running for over 22 years, the Kamloops Children’s Arts Festival is a fun-filled, creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for children ages 2 to 12. The entire day is FREE for children and their families.

This spectacular festival is back for 2025! This year’s festival will feature all those loved activities from previous years – workshops, storytelling, magic, and performances from local groups! It is going to be a festival filled with fun.

Who participates?

Thanks to our supporters, the Children’s Arts Festival is 100% free to the public. This means we see a wide cross-section of the community, including children and families who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in extracurricular arts activities.

What are the benefits?

Participating in the arts can have a tremendous impact on developmental growth. Learning artistic skills strengthens problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. It’s also a lot of fun – maybe too much fun for some!

The Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) is a registered charitable non-profit organization that is devoted to the development and enhancement of the arts in the Kamloops area. We support all artists and art organizations and promote cooperation among them, government and business. We produce high-quality, year-round low- and no-cost arts programs, arts performances, arts workshops and arts events that help to connect our local community and promote our local talent.
