send + receive is an international festival of experimental music and sound art, supporting programming in treaty 1 territory, the traditional territory of the anishnabe, Cree, oji-cree, dakota and dene peoples, and the birthplace of the métis nation.

send + receive is one of the longest running media arts festivals in north america, specializing exclusively in sound art. Each year the festival presents innovative work by Manitoba, Canadian and international artists while maintaining a critical engagement with sound practices in a global context.
