CHECK OUT THE VIBRANT PAINTINGS OF PERUVIAN ARTIST ALEXIS RAMOS-MEJIA. Alexis is an Ontario-based painter whose work celebrates the land of his birth and the spirit of the Peruvian people. Alexis began painting at an early age in the city of Lima, Peru. His love for the visual arts began at the Museo de Bellas Artes, where he started studying art at the age of four. At five, Alexis won his first national competition in painting. Alexis has shown his paintings in Lima, Toronto and London and he will be available to answer questions and talk about his work on Saturday evening from 6-7 PM.
