The first stop is the Culture Centre Plaza where you can view our boutique table. See examples of what we create with our rocks and silversmithing tools. Try your hand at creating a simple necklace, bookmark or ring. Test your knowledge with the Rock Identification game. If you have a rock you would like identified bring it along. Boutique items are for sale.
Second stop is the lapidary studio on the second floor. Watch as rough rock is cut into slabs, shaped into preformed cabochons, and finally polished to create a finished cabochon. Observe jewellery being created in silversmithing. There is something to pique everyone's interest.
