About
In your mother’s womb, you were like a fish in the sea. Do you now long for the world of water? Les Eaux is a video installation that invites kids (and the rest of the family) to reconnect to the magical substance that connects all living things: H2O.
Come let your dreams ebb and flow with the tides under a comfortable translucent canopy showing projections of the seaside and children playing. As though holding a seashell to your ear, you’ll hear words bubbling up, a tingling joy and the tender voice of a parent telling their soon-to-be-born child that they’re waiting for them, that they already love them. A calming cocoon of sights and sounds.

The NAC presents, creates, produces, and co-produces performing arts programming in various streams — the NAC Orchestra, Dance, English Theatre, French Theatre, Indigenous Theatre, and Popular Music and Variety — and nurtures the next generation of audiences and artists from across Canada. The NAC is located in the National Capital Region on the unceded territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation.
