This is the first of a four-part workshop series in collaboration with Vernon & District Immigrant & Community Services Society and Studio sisp̓l̓k̓ Gallery Inc.
Led by renowned syilx artist Mariel Belanger, this series encourages newcomers to delve into the concepts of "home" and belonging through the lens of Indigenous worldview.
The Visitor Protocols workshop will engage in shared discussions and activities to facilitate an understanding of how to interact with and appreciate Indigenous ways of being in relation to the land.
