Nige B Bio

Woodland Cree hip-hop artist Nige B doesn’t just tell stories — he builds bridges with them. On his latest single 'Morning Drive' featuring Dubbygotbars, Nige delivers a slow-burn banger steeped in memory, survival, and spiritual grind. The track — now sitting at #11 on the Indigenous Music Countdown — sets the tone for his April 18 release Reshape // Refashion, a record that doesn’t just bang; it breathes.

Born and based in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Nige B (short for Nigel Bell) has carved out a reputation as one of the most reflective voices in Indigenous hip-hop. His last album, U R WHAT U R Vol. 2, was a deeply personal tribute to his late brother Billy Ray Roy — an emotional milestone that cemented his ability to turn pain into art. With his latest album, Reshape // Refashion, he moves into a chapter of reclamation and forward momentum.

The impact has been immediate. Every song from Reshape // Refashion has debuted on multiple CBC Radio stations, charted on college radio, and earned spins on SiriusXM. Over his career, Nige has received more than 40 award nominations — including recognition in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Atlanta — along with 6 wins.

Outside the booth, Nige invests in community and mentorship. He led hip-hop workshops with Men Of The North, guiding youth through writing, recording, and shooting Still Here — a powerful project addressing men’s suicide and mental health. He also co-produced Aches and Breaks with Joey Stylez for Carsen Gray’s latest single while visiting Haida Gwaii, showcasing his adaptability and collaborative range.
