About

This event will basically show the importance of different mudras (symbolic gestures) done with the hands. Visitors will be able to learn different mudras pertaining to classical dance forms of India. They will get to know a cultural interaction done with the help of mudras. Unique thing of this event will be a small performance done in proper bharatnatyam costume for the entertainment of the people.

Vrunda is a young talented Bharatnatyam dancer, Teacher, Choreographer and a Singer of unprecedented & graceful intensity.

Mudra dance academy is the academy started by vrunda to propagate the use of Indian cultural art form of Bharatnatyam dance. The main vision of this academy is to maintain and make inter cultural relation stronger through classical dance and reach out to the people of Regina.
