Southern AB Pop Up Parks Association, Pride Association of Southeast AB, Medalta
Southern Alberta Pop Up Parks Association is a not for profit community organization promoting sustainable living, outdoor activities, art and music within the community. We focus on targeting vacant, neglected lots and turning them to be community friendly, green and vibrant outdoor spaces such as; edible gardens, street art canvases and outdoor music venues. By doing so we provide a platform and space for the community, not for profits and their projects.
Pop Up Parks are promoting common ideas and projects, pooling talents and resources in an effort to create an even better Medicine Hat.
Pride Association of Southeast Alberta envisions an open and safe community for all to live. We strive to provide opportunities to celebrate diversity, love, and fellowship within our community. We provide cultural, artistic, social and educational events which affirm the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, two-spirited and queer people and our allies and supporters throughout Southeast Alberta. We promote unity, inclusion, and awareness of sexual and gender diversity and aim to create a sense of community and safe spaces for LGBTQ2+ individuals, their families and their allies
