About
Join Kaley Svendsen in a beading circle to create a beaded orange shirt pin! Participants will learn the 2-needle flat stitch technique and finishing skills to create the pin. This is an opportune time to reflect on the significance of the orange shirt ahead of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation on September 30th.
Beaders of all skill levels are welcome. This beading circle is a supportive space, where all gender and cultural identities are welcome to attend and participate.
All supplies are included. Participants are welcome to take home supplies if they do not finish at the beading circle.
Maximum of 10 participants. Registration is required. (Register at https://bit.ly/4oIVG86)
Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
This workshop is generously supported by the Community Initiatives Fund, City of Prince Albert Municipal Cultural Action Plan, and SK Arts.
