About
Grab your uke and come out for some skill-building workshops. Whether you are a beginner or a long-timer, we can share some tips with you to build your confidence and have you playing this delightful instrument by the end of the evening.
We'll finish off the evening with a group strum to some energetic tunes that you'll be able to sing and maybe even play along with, to send you off happy.
All ages welcome, but you must attend with a uke. If it's out of tune, we can help you.
All workshops will be taught by members of the Buskers Ukulele Band.

The Buskers Ukulele Band is a group of 14 seniors who met in ukulele class and have been performing together since 2016.
We've performed at many of the senior care facilities as well as community events in and around Burlington, and at the Sound of Music Festival in 2018. We'll be entertaining the walkers and runners of the Terry Fox Run in September 2019.
We play mostly upbeat pop standards, oldies and modern stuff, adding in vocal harmonies. We perform for free, for the sheer fun of playing music and entertaining audiences.
