Come and experience what it is like to be a member of the Richmond Youth Honour Choir and participate in the rehearsals of one of our choirs!

There is the Prelude Choir - ages 5 - 8 years of age 5:15 - 6:15 pm

Debut Choir - ages 9 - 13 years of age 6:15 - 7:45 pm

Festival Choir - ages 12 - 19 years of age 6:15 - 7:45 pm

Learn vocal technique, musical visual and aural literacy and repertoire from a broad range of genres. And make wonderful new friends. Our most dedicated singers also enjoy the benefits of touring including international tours! We have ones coming up including World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand and our sister city, Wakayama, Japan. There are many special events in the year that all our choristers enjoy like concerts and special performances and development camps. Day camps for our youngest singers and over-night camps for our older ones

Richmond Youth Honour Choir

The Richmond Youth Honour Choir is a premier choral program for children and youth in Richmond and the Metro Vancouver area. Their mission is to provide premier choral training, including musical literacy, vocal technique and a repertoire that goes from classical, Broadway, Pop, Jazz and World Music. We also provide a variety of performance opportunities, from our own annual concerts to collaborating with other arts organizations and concerts, Festivals and touring. The RYHC has toured BC, to Ottawa, to Richmond's Sister City, Wakayama, Japan and surrounding areas, to Namibia, and South Africa for the World Choir Games in 2018. The RYHC is committed to the health, safety and well-being of all their choristers and their families. We are proud to share that we remained active throughout this pandemic without any outbreaks our choirs.
