Let nature inspire and guide us in creating a mixed media landscape painting with Thaniath. We will let our intuition and brushstrokes flow to achieve balance and harmony in the piece.

Supplies:

Canvas:

Medium canvas around 11x9 inches

or mixed media paper any size

Acrylic paints:

Red, yellow, blue, gold, white and black

Tissue paper - white

Liquid transparent glue

Paint Brushes:

Assorted - flat, round and fine tip

Other:

Water

Paper towel

Paper plate or cardboard/newspaper.

Thaniath is an award-winning artist currently based in Canada. She creates impactful and emotionally rich art using a variety of forms including mixed media. She likes to create abstract landscapes and florals. Her work is intuitive and a reflection of her feelings and emotions. She believes that art should be an experience which connects and communicates with the viewers and touches their deeper instincts. Hailing from India, she has lived in the Middle East before moving to Canada. Thaniath is the founder of Canvas Stories which hosts Art events and Art workshops in Toronto.
