About

Join Ann Tin at the Helson Gallery for a live portraiture demo!

Ann Tin is a member of the Visual Arts Brampton Portrait Group and a graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. She worked as a commercial and fashion designer for many years. Her paintings have been exhibited in Singapore, the US and Canada.

"I love to celebrate life through painting with the use of bold colors, shadows and lights to reflect life as I see it and as I feel it. I hope my works will reflect my love of life and joy of living."

This workshop is a special presentation as part of a new exhibition in the Sisnett Lobby - Portraits and More: New work by the Visual Arts Brampton Portrait Group, on display October 5 - November 22, 2020.

The Town of Halton Hills is taking a careful and phased approach to reopening facilities and services. While we establish a new normal, an added layer of health and safety measures is required to ensure the safety of residents, employees and visitors. In an effort to provide ongoing protection, a new COVID-19 screening protocol is in effect and mandatory for the public and staff when entering Town facilities, including the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and the Helson Gallery.
