About
Join papermaker Joanne Rich in learning the 2,000-year-old art of Chinese papermaking using hand-made tools and locally grown plants. In our first workshop, you will hand-beat plant fibres into pulp, form them into sheets, and finally dry your own hand-made paper.
Sign up for our second workshop on October 28 to make a lantern by creating a frame with reeds and branches, then wrapping it with your own handmade paper.
Registration is required and opens Friday, September 1 at 10 am.
These workshops have been funded by the Ontario Arts Council.
