The Aurora Historical Society presents Behind the Scenes Tours of Hillary House National Historic Site. Uncover the history of Hillary House, a beautiful Victorian-era house recognized for its Gothic Revival architecture.

In this behind the scenes tour, learn about the ongoing volunteer Transcription Project and the wonderful stories found within the Aurora Historical Society archives.

COVID-19 safety precautions in place. Masks are mandatory while inside Hillary House. Please maintain physical distance from those outside your social bubble. Cleaning/disinfecting procedures in place. Please call ahead to book your tour time.

The Aurora Historical Society was founded in 1963 and dedicates itself to the preservation of Aurora’s heritage. A non-profit governed by a volunteer Board, the Society owns and operates Hillary House National Historic Site. The Aurora Historical Society hosts a variety of community oriented events throughout each year and is always happy to welcome new members, volunteers and visitors.
