About
From September 21-27, the Second Worldwide Estonian Learning Week will take place. VEMU celebrates it this year with a window exhibition devoted to the Estonian language. The projected pictures are drawn by the Estonian artist Marko Mäetamm and they help you to learn the basic Estonian words and expressions. You can see the pictures in the evenings in Tartu College's G-Floor windows.
VEMU thanks the organizers of the Estonian Learning Week and the artist Marko Mäetamm for the opportunity to use the pictures as part of the exhibition.

Organizer
Estonian Studies Centre/VEMU
VEMU (The Museum of Estonians Abroad) is part of the Estonian Studies Centre at Tartu College. It manages the largest archives of Canadian-Estonians and organizes events and activities for the Estonian community living in Ontario. Currently, VEMU is collecting funding for a new museum building next to Tartu College which would exhibit the experiences of the Estonian diaspora integrating in the cultural mosaic of multicultural Toronto.
