About

Take yourself on a self-guided tour of Milton’s vibrant murals on Hugh Lane! As part of the Exclusively Inclusive Art Project, these ten ground murals celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the power of public art. Supported by the Government of Ontario, this project transforms everyday spaces into meaningful artistic experiences.

One of the great things about murals on the ground is that you can physically move through them—the walk itself becomes part of the art. While exploring, reflect on the messages and creative voices behind each piece:

How does the art change the way you see this space?

What do the colors, shapes, and symbols mean to you?

How do these works express diversity, inclusion, and anti-hate messages?

Try this interactive experience:

Walk back and forth across Hugh Lane, taking your time to notice details. Capture a short video with your phone by pointing it at your feet as you move across the murals. Pause to zoom in on details that inspire you, and narrate your thoughts as they come—turning your walk into a personal reflection on art, community, and belonging.
