Our artists match wits and brights, painting fast, lively and loose in this head to head *LIVE* painting showcase. See how each interprets the subject matter and cast your vote to help determine the event champion! Our artists generously offer up their time and talents to show what amazing things can be accomplished in just a little time.
A limited number of artists can set up on site and paint throughout the day, but we'll begin with a few lightning-fast speed painting rounds, and our main timed event will commence after the opening ceremonies and performances at the Richmond Cultural Centre Plaza. The Cultural Centre is a hub of activity for the opening weekend!

Richmond Artists Guild was founded in 1955 with the goal of providing a forum for local artists to meet, improve their skills and learn more about art. Members are welcome at all levels from beginner to professional, to encourage, learn from and support each other while fostering arts in our community. The Guild offers weekly life drawing, long pose & plein air sessions, and regular guest artist demos, group shows and art events.
