About
In celebration of Ontario Culture Days, Duo Petrichor performs live at the Ancaster Branch. Madison Deppe (flute) and Patrick Anderson (guitar) formed Duo Petrichor based on a shared enthusiasm for discovering intriguing repertoire which seems to evoke some sense of the familiar, drawing heavily on music with roots in folk traditions from around the world, including Ireland, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Serbia, America, and Canada. They bring together extensive solo and chamber performance experience, and have enjoyed sharing their diverse music with audiences across Western Ontario. In honour of Women's History Month, this concert is fully funded by the Hamilton Musicians' Guild. Learn more about the Guild at hamiltonmusicians.org.
