About
For one night, Albion-Islington Square will become an exciting outdoor art gallery, featuring video art, three-dimensional installations, augmented reality, and live performances. This type of large-scale outdoor art festival – with art installations, digital artworks, and performances – has never taken place in North Etobicoke. Albion-Islington has always been a space where flows of people, ideas, and commerce come together. Like the nearby forks of the Humber River, Albion-Islington Square is a fixed location in constant motion, defined by both deep local history and dynamic change.
In partnership with Albion-Islington Square BIA, Arts Etobicoke will animate Albion-Islington Square for a one-night art festival on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Organizer
Arts Etobicoke
Arts Etobicoke was established in 1973 to provide a united voice for the local arts community. Since then, Arts Etobicoke has continued to build community through the arts in West Toronto. Throughout this time, we have adapted and grown to respond to the changing needs of our community. We have continued to advocate for accessible arts outside the downtown core, while developing new programs and operating a Storefront Gallery. Currently, we provide free accessible programming to everyone in West Toronto with a focus on developing compelling and engaging programs designed with and for our community.
Our vision is to ignite artistic imagination by creating spaces and opportunities for West Toronto residents to create, participate, and explore local arts and culture.
Our mission is to provide equitable and inclusive access to community arts and culture in West Toronto and to encourage all individuals to freely express themselves. Through creative exchange, we are committed to celebrating the artistic expressions of our communities.
