The Electric City Culture Council (EC3) invites you to attend the launch and opening

ceremonies for Artsweek 2025, kicking off 8 days of performance, poetry, visual arts

projects and music, featuring dozens of events and 100 artists.

Join us at Millennium Park, by the Silver Bean Café at the foot of King Street. Don’t

miss the official proclamation of Artsweek by Mayor Jeff Leal, remarks by Councillor

Alex Bierk, and guest artists Take-Out Poetry Cart, Blues in the Bottle,

Washboard Hank, Samantha Banton, Janet McCue, Sahira, Victoria Yeh, Caylie Staples

and more.

Founded in 2012, EC3 is an arm’s length, not-for-profit arts service organization supporting the development of individual artists and arts and culture organizations in Peterborough and Peterborough County. Our programs provide opportunities for artists to create, produce, and present work, and for audiences to experience and appreciate the arts. EC3 designs and delivers grant programs, residencies, professional development workshops, research and advocacy initiatives, arts programming and more.
