Moozhan Ahmadzadegan: I am an emerging contemporary artist and designer based on the unceded and ancestral territory of the Syilx people (Okanagan, BC). My artistic practice is primarily based in painting and screenprinting. While both mediums vary in results, they often share a unified underlying objective. My practice engages personal and social investigation as a means to navigate identity and participate within the larger discourse through visual materials. Oftentimes, my work involves exploring themes such as identity, culture, queerness, resistance, social justice, and more. The themes embedded in my work, while very personal, are not only for my own investigations, but to make visible the experiences of others and create a space for open dialogue. | Memorable and Vibrant Okanagan Photography: Mama Bear to two young boys, Michelle is a heart-centered Mompreneur who wants to uplift you with wedding, portrait, family, and event photography. She holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and practices therapeutic photography. Michelle enjoys fundraising for the community with the Hope Card postcard and canvas print series, and the Men's Voices coffee table book and documentary. Read more about the community fundraising projects the Hope Card Series and the Men’s Voices initiative. Michelle is based in Kelowna, B.C., and happy to travel worldwide to capture your uplifting moments.
