About

Local history buff Wayne Martin will tell stories about the railway in Palmerston including life in the 1950s and 60s; the 1954 train accident; the 1958/59 Palmerston Lions hockey team; the Palmerston creamery & Dairy and the Cenotaph's 100 year dedication. This will be followed by an open conversation - down memory lane.

The Minto Cultural Roundtable is a Committee of the Town of Minto. It was created in 2011 to implement the recommendations of the Minto Municipal Cultural Plan. Its membership consists of Councillors, staff and community representatives from the Town's cultural groups. This body has been the main organizer and funder of Culture Days in Minto.
