The five-acre park, bordered by trees and wetlands, offers plenty of open space for ball throwing, a bark mulch trail for walking, and a nine-piece agility course for more disciplined play time. Thanks to the efforts of regular park users and volunteers, our dog park is also one of the cleanest parks around.

The Fergus Dog Park was officially opened as a permanent facility in March of 2011, but began as a pilot project back in the fall of 2009. Today it is visited by hundreds of dogs each week.

Park operations are fully funded by the Township of Centre Wellington. Dog owners, both Centre Wellington residents and those visiting the area, are welcome to use the park without membership fees.
