About

Come drop by and join some members of the Richmond Photo Club in the plaza in front of the Richmond Arts Centre. We will have equipment set up and will demonstrate how to control elements of composition for photo subjects such as family portraits and ordinary objects and scenes, posing/selecting subjects, selecting photographer position, use of lighting, etcetera. There will be some mention of technical aspects such as shutter speed and f stop as needed. Bring your devices (phones etc) and/or other photo gear and your curiosity and questions and learn some skills to maybe impress your friends. This is a drop in workshop not a class. You are welcome at any point during the day. COVID protocol for social distance will be followed.

Richmond Photo Club

The Richmond Photo Club is one of the resident Arts Groups at the Richmond Arts Centre. We are a registered not for profit group of dedicated amateur photographers. We have been in existence now for forty years. The club meets three Tuesdays a month at 7 pm upstairs in the painting studio in the Arts Centre (after COVID). We welcome new members of all skill levels.
