ONLINE WORKSHOPS & PERFORMANCE

Discover the magical world of shadow puppets and learn to make your own!

In this special Culture Days presentation, Waterwood Theatre will share two instructional videos on the making and use of shadow puppets that will be shared before their event. These family-friendly activities will provide steps to make your own. PLEASE NOTE: These activities require supervision by a responsible adult to assist with cutting cardboard with a knife and plugging in household lighting.

We invite children of any age to delight in making puppets and telling stories using a screen and a light.

Downloadable puppet patterns here: https://icreate3.esolutionsgroup.ca/230607_StCatharines/en/experiencein/resources/Culture/Culture-Days/Waterwood-Downloadable-patterns.pdf

As a culmination of these activities, Waterwood Theatre will present two five minute shadow puppet pieces as well as host a sharing of their creative ideas and a short question and answer period.

Live-stream presentation Thursday, October 15
