About

Music in the Park concerts are a summer tradition in Chemainus. Come and hear awesome professional musicians perform on the bandshell stage in Water Wheel Park. We will be holding a special concert to celebrate the end of our very successful Summer 2024 season and to kick off the beginning of BC Culture Days in Chemainus. Everyone can enjoy the magic of listening to music among the majestic trees of Vancouver Island. Admission is free and donations are welcome. Performing bands will be announced on our website cvcas.ca SOON!

Organizer

Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society

For more than 20 years, the Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society has been bringing live music, visual arts, and literary voices to the community.

A dedicated team of volunteers and sponsors supports the society in fulfilling its mission: To foster, celebrate, and promote the music, visual, literary, and performing arts of all cultures in Chemainus, Crofton, and the surrounding region. To seek funding to promote, enhance, and maintain the purposes of the society.

Events are held year-round - Rain Forest Arts Gallery, Chemainus Song Circle, Chemainus Open Mic, Writers' Circle, Sunday Jazz, and the very popular "Music in the Park" – live music concerts held weekly every summer in Water Wheel Park.
