About

Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network Announces 2nd Annual Art Studio Tour

Chatham-Kent’s foremost Art Group, the Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network, is at it again, showcasing local artists in their natural habitat. The Art Studio Tour will take you across Chatham-Kent, to visit many studios and gatherings of artists. 28 artists and 5 galleries are taking part in this year's event.

This Self-Guided Tour can be done between 10-4 on Saturday, September 28th and 12-4 on Sunday the 29th. Brochures can be picked up at Art and Heirloom Shoppe, 137 King Street West, Chatham, or The Studio Gallery, 159 Brown Street Dresden (also found online www.ckartstudiotour.com).

For many CK artists, the Art Studio Tour is a highlight of their year, and they remain busy throughout much of the year creating artwork for your buying pleasure.

The Art Studio Tour offers an ideal opportunity to take a relaxing drive through Chatham-Kent’s towns and pastoral farmlands to visit artists’ studios that dot the countryside. Meet the artists, learn about their processes and artistic visions, and browse affordable original works of art.

Thanks to our many sponsors: Chatham-Kent, Teksavvy, CKACN, Exordia Creative, Union Block Bakery Café, Lens Mills, Planet Print and Sons of Kent. Make sure to put your name in for our Patrons’ Appreciation door prize of $100.00. This is a free event. See you in September!
