Join us in celebrating Alberta Culture Days with the unveiling of the Genesis Centre’s “Weaving Community Project” — a community-led public art installation that brings together creativity, culture, and connection.
Standing over 6 feet tall and crafted from cedar and reclaimed natural materials, this large-scale Earth Loom has been collaboratively woven by community members over the past months. Inspired by nature, permaculture principles, and traditions of communal weaving found around the world.
