About

Join Creativity Studio Artist Pengyuan Wang for a Chinese painting workshop where participants will learn the traditional techniques using rice paper, Chinese ink, and brushes. The workshop will begin with a brief artist talk by Pengyuan, introducing his solo exhibition in the Tett Gallery and sharing insights into his creative process. Participants will then have the chance to engage in hands-on painting, drawing inspiration from his work and approach to Chinese painting.

About the Instructor: Pengyuan Wang is a Chinese Canadian visual artist who works in oils, watercolour and calligraphy, and is a Creativity Studio artist at the Tett. He believes that art making is a way of finding stillness and peace within the mind.
