Visual diaries, or art journals, are a great way to express yourself, and DE-stress! Because a visual diary is an expression of YOU, there is no "right way" to create unique works using words, drawings, cut out papers, and/or paint. You'll learn some simple techniques using every day materials to get started in a simple bound diary you make yourself at the workshop. All materials, brushes, etc. are provided. Please wear an apron or old shirt. Established artists will enjoy the fellowship of being with other creative folk, and beginners will have fun with exploring materials they can use for their visual diary. Ages 10 to adult. The workshop will begin at 12:00 pm and end at 3 pm, with an extra hour available for participants to continue creating on their own if they wish. Pre-registration is required, as in person spots will be limited. Those wishing to attend virtually may do so, but must register by Sept. 1 so packages of materials can be mailed out with Zoom link.
This event is free.
