About

There is a free museum tour highlighting numerous local heritage items connected to the businesses, sports teams, and pioneer families in Sunderland. There will be pictures and information on several century homes in the area. There is and audio and visual on line tour of the homes and business on the main section of town. Visitors can learn how to douse for water using metal rods and tree branches, asystem used by early settlers to find well water. Copies of old township maps and family histories also available. Time 10 am to 4 pm

The Sunderland Historical Society is a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting the heritage of Sunderland and Brock Township. We have museum of thousands of local artifacts and a data base of 62,000 names linking the families of pioneer settlers in the area.
