About
The North Vancouver Community Players take you backstage at The Theatre at Hendry Hall to discover and explore community theatre. Find out what goes on back stage in your local theatre - take a tour - try on a costume and/or makeup - participate in a reading on stage - see how lights and sound work. Your chance to talk to directors, backstage hands, actors and other hands-on theatre people. Learn a bit about the activities at Hendry Hall and its history, and hear some of the hysterical goings on of live theatre and dare-we-say "occasional" bloopers. If you love theatre, or are even a novice, come and join us as there is a niche for everyone.

The North Vancouver Community Players (NVCP) is a 100% volunteer organization. There are numerous opportunities for you to get involved in creating or organizing theatre productions. No prior theatre experience is needed. We will train the untrained and you’ll have fun during the process! We look after our volunteers and treat everyone equally, no matter what age or skill level, there’s a place for you On Stage or Behind The Scenes!!
