Join us for an artist reception and talk with Sherry Park as she shares the inspiration, influences, and evolving journey behind her latest body of work 'Contemplation in Nature'. Born in Korea and raised in the Toronto area, Park studied drawing and painting at OCAD University before completing her final year of studies in Florence, Italy. While she is best known for her figurative paintings, her recent work explores the landscape as a new avenue for storytelling and observation. This engaging conversation offers a unique opportunity to learn more about her artistic practice, creative process, and the experiences that continue to shape her work. Following the talk, guests are invited to meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the exhibition.
