About
The Train Crew House 2 was built in approximately 1945 on Jarvis Steet, where it remained until the 1960s when it was moved to its current location on the waterfront. In both locations it housed White Pass & Yukon Route employees. It was designated a Historic Site by the City of Whitehorse in 2002 after the Yukon government bought the land and building. Since 2015 Historic Sites has been working to conserve the building.
Learn more about this historic building at the doors open event on September 25 and October 1st, from 3-6pm. Historic Sites staff will be on hand to answer questions.
